The objective of the game of Craps is very simple and the person who is tossing the dice or as he is commonly known the Shooter has to to establish a point on the Come Out roll (his very first roll of the dice) and then he has to make the point by rolling the same number again, before rolling a Seven.
You will have to be aware that only the following numbers: Four, Five, Six, Eight, Nine, or Ten are the only ones that can be a point.
In its basic form the game of Craps basically consists of two parts, the first part is known as the Coming Out phase and then the second part of the game of Craps is the Point phase. The simplest way to explain this is that in the Coming Out phase the shooter has to roll a Seven or an Eleven, while betting on the Pass Line.
Should however the Shooter roll in either a Four, Five, Six, Eight, Nine or Ten then a Point is established.
So next we come to the Point part of the game, the objective of this second part of the game is for the shooter to simply to roll the same number as the Point, before you roll a seven.
Below is an overview of the betting and wagering options available on the online Craps table, give it a good read through so you fully understand it before you play.
Pass Line bet: When you place this wager you are betting that the Shooter will roll a 7 or 11 on the come-out roll, or that he will establish a Point by rolling 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10.
Don't Pass bet: Upon making this wager you are hoping that the Shooter will roll a 2, 3 or 12 on the come-out roll, or that he will establish a Point by rolling 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10.
Come bet: Upon making this wager you are hoping that the Shooter will roll a 7 or 11 on the next roll, or make a Point.
Don't Come bet: You can only make such a wager after a Point is established.
Odds bets: All these are simply additional wagers that can be placed on established Pass, Don't Pass, Come or Don't Come bet.
Place to Win bet: Upon making this wager you are hoping that the Shooter will roll the number that a Win bet is placed on 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, before a 7 is rolled.
Place to Lose bet: Upon making this wager you are hoping that the Shooter will roll a 7, before the number that a Lose bet is placed on 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, is rolled.
Any Seven: Upon making this wager you are hoping that the Shooter will roll a 7 on the next roll
Any Craps: Upon making this wager you are hoping that the Shooter will roll a 2, 3 or 12 on the next roll. Craps Two: Upon making this wager you are hoping that the Shooter will roll a 2 on the next roll
Craps Twelve: Upon making this wager you are hoping that the Shooter will roll a 12 on the next roll
Craps Three: Upon making this wager you are hoping that the Shooter will roll a 3 on the next roll
Eleven: Upon making this wager you are hoping that the Shooter will roll an 11 on the next roll
Big 6: You are wagering that a 6 will be rolled before a 7.
Big 8: You are wagering that an 8 will be rolled before a 7.
